Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using our online shop and services.
Section 1 – Definitions
In these Terms & Conditions, the following definitions apply:
Cancellation period: the period within which the consumer can exercise their right to cancel
Consumer: an individual who enters into a distance contract with Veiko for purposes outside their trade, business or profession
Day: a calendar day
Continuing contract: a contract for the regular supply of products or services
Durable medium: any means that allows information to be stored in a lasting and unchanged way
Right to cancel: the consumer’s right to cancel a distance contract within the cancellation period
Seller: Veiko, a trading name of Azul GZ, offering products and/or services at a distance
Distance contract: a contract concluded without both parties being physically present at the same time
Means of distance communication: any tool that allows a distance contract to be concluded
Terms & Conditions: these Terms & Conditions
Section 2 – Scope
These Terms & Conditions apply to every offer made by Veiko and to every contract concluded between Veiko and the consumer. They are made available to the consumer before the contract is concluded, in a way that allows them to be saved on a durable medium. If any provision is found to be invalid, this does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
Section 3 – Offers
Offers are valid for the stated period or while stocks last. Veiko reserves the right to change offers and prices without prior notice. Product descriptions and images are for illustration purposes and are not binding. Obvious errors in prices or information are not binding on Veiko.
Section 4 – Formation of the contract
The contract is formed once the consumer has confirmed and paid for their order. Veiko will confirm receipt of the order by email. We use appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect payments and the processing of personal data. Veiko reserves the right to refuse an order for legitimate reasons, such as incomplete order details or suspected fraud.
Section 5 – Right to cancel
You have the right to cancel your order within 30 days of receiving the product, without giving a reason. This is longer than the 14-day period required under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. To cancel, let us know in writing within this period at info@veiko.uk (you can use our Cancellation Form), then return the product within 14 days. Please handle the product with reasonable care; it should be unused and, where possible, returned in its original packaging.
Section 6 – Costs of cancellation
The cost of returning the product is paid by the consumer. We’ll issue your refund within 14 days of receiving the returned product, or of receiving proof that you have sent it back, whichever is sooner. Refunds are made using the same payment method used for the original purchase, at no extra cost to you. Original delivery costs are not refunded, except where the law requires this.
Section 7 – Exceptions to the right to cancel
The right to cancel does not apply to:
- Products made to order or personalised
- Hygiene and intimate products that have been unsealed
- Health and personal care products whose packaging has been opened
- Perishable products
- Opened software, digital files and licences
- Gift cards
- Hazardous substances, flammable liquids or gases
- Services that have started with the consumer’s express consent
Section 8 – Prices
All prices include VAT and apply at the time the order is placed. Veiko reserves the right to change prices; price changes do not apply to orders already placed.
Section 9 – Conformity and guarantee
Veiko guarantees that products conform to the contract, the specifications stated in the offer and reasonable quality standards. All products come with a guarantee against manufacturing defects of at least 6 months. Please report any defects in writing to info@veiko.uk within a reasonable time after discovering them. The guarantee does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect or normal wear and tear. This guarantee is in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Section 10 – Delivery and risk
Orders are delivered to the address provided by the customer. The estimated delivery time is 7–14 working days from dispatch. Risk of loss or damage passes to the consumer once the parcel has been delivered. Veiko does its best to ensure careful and timely delivery but is not liable for delays beyond our control.
Section 11 – Payment
Payment is made when the order is placed, using the secure payment methods available: credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and PayPal. All payments are processed by certified, encrypted payment service providers. Please let us know immediately of any errors in your payment details.
Section 12 – Complaints
Complaints about the performance of the contract should be submitted in writing to info@veiko.uk within a reasonable time after they arise. Veiko handles every complaint individually and aims to respond within 14 days. If a complaint cannot be resolved between us, you can get free advice from Citizens Advice (citizensadvice.org.uk).
Section 13 – Governing law and disputes
These Terms & Conditions are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes will first be resolved through negotiation. If this does not lead to a solution, the dispute may be submitted to the competent court. As a consumer, you always keep the protection of the mandatory consumer protection laws of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.
Final provisions
The current version of these Terms & Conditions is always available on our website. Changes take effect on publication. If any provision is found to be invalid, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
